Halal Indian food near Euston, NW1
All our meat is halal. We're also a licensed restaurant with a full bar.
All the meat in our kitchen is halal, from the tandoor to the curries. We're not a halal establishment in the fuller sense: there's a bar, we serve alcohol, and it's poured in the same dining room.
All meat is halal
Chicken, lamb and everything off the tandoor, across the whole menu.
Alcohol is served
A full bar with wine, beer and cocktails, in the same room.
Minutes from Euston
48 Stanhope Street, NW1 — around eight minutes on foot from the station.
What halal means in our kitchen
Our meat is sourced halal, and that applies to every meat dish on the menu: the chicken in a tikka or a biryani, the lamb in a rogan josh, the seekh kebabs and mixed grills off the tandoor. There's no separate halal section because there's no separate non-halal one. If you want to know about a particular supplier, call the restaurant and the team will tell you what they know.
Alcohol and certification
We are not a halal-certified restaurant and we are not alcohol-free. There is a full cocktail bar, wine and beer on the menu, and drinks are served throughout the dining room. Pork is not on the menu, but the kitchen is not certified. If you observe stricter requirements around certification or shared preparation, that's the thing to know before you book.
Vegetarian and vegan
The vegetarian and vegan side of the menu runs to a full section: paneer off the tandoor, dals, vegetable biryani, chaat and a run of sides worth ordering on their own. For a mixed table it's often the easiest place to start.
